Quality control laboratory

The objective of the quality control is to guarantee that the quality of the seeds we deliver is in line with international ISTA standards (conventional, organic and for sprouting) and with HACCP standards (seeds for sprouting)

Next to the germination, vigour, purity and moisture tests performed on the seeds for sowing or sprouting, some specific analysis are made on the seeds for sprouting to detect potential pathogens such as Salmonella spp,  Listeria monocytogenes,  Escherichia coli verocitotossici :

- Isolation on selected soils  and not, selected microbiological cultures as coliforms and mesophyll bacterium
- Preliminary stages (enrichment and DNA extraction) at the survey of pathogenic microorganisms through real time PCR

- Biological molecular method able to detect target DNA presence through amplification reactions of a specific sequence of noted DNA. The reagents “kit” used for molecular investigations are AFNOR validated.
